The Foundation
In 2023 we had the pleasure of participating in the Habitat for Humanity “Rock the Block”. This was the start of our new endeavor as Destructed the Route bound Garden at FDCC. 2024 we had the pleasure of being rewarded a grant from The City Of Toledo to carry out a long over due project at the Fredrick Douglass Community Center. With that Grant we completed the Route Bound Garden. To continue the work that we do throughout Toledo which we must rely on Donations, grants, and sponsorships.
Our Mission
Here at Earthly Roots we are striving to make a difference in all community sectors. We believe at a core that everyone should have the accessibility to fresh produce. When we push this mission beauty pours out. we transform abandoned lots into places the community will use and thrive from. When we set out on this journey we knew it would be a hard long road, but watching each space transform and the smile on the residents faces as a once dilapidated lot being restored to its new beauty is all we need to continue our mission.
